Lee Rocker must feel like a million bucks.

Rocker - who would spin around, jump off and generally attack his upright bass in the Massapequa-based rockabilly greats the Stray Cats - is in the midst of a 12-show run on Broadway's "Million Dollar Quartet."

Rocker portrays Carl Perkins' bass-playing brother, Jay, in "Quartet's" tale of the legendary 1956 recording session at Sun Studios with Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Perkins, Johnny Cash and various session men. He'll be in the show until Jan. 30 at the Nederlander Theatre. At that final show, Rocker will perform in a special on-stage jam session.

"The story is especially close to my heart," Rocker said in a statement. He was a friend of Carl Perkins and played bass on the King of Rockabilly's "Go Cat Go" album.

If that's not enough, Rocker - son of recent Long Island Music Hall of Fame inductee and longtime New York Philharmonic principal clarinetist Stanley Drucker - plays the Rockwood Music Hall in Manhattan Feb. 3. Tickets for that one are well under $1 million.
