NEW YORK (AP) — The 65th annual Tony Awards nominations have been announced in New York by the The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

The Tonys will be presented June 12 at The Beacon Theatre in New York, televised on CBS.

Best musical

The category’s nominees announced Tuesday morning are: “The Book of Mormon”; “Catch Me If You Can”; “The Scottsboro Boy”; “Sister Act.”

Best actress in a musical

The category’s nominees announced Tuesday morning are: Sutton Foster, “Anything Goes”; Beth Leavel, “Baby It’s You!”; Patina Miller, “Sister Act”; Donna Murphy, “The People in the Picture.”

Best actor in a musical

The category’s nominees announced Tuesday morning are: Norbert Leo Butz “Catch Me If You Can”; Josh Gad “The Book of Mormon”; Joshua Henry, “The Scottsboro Boys”; Andrew Rannells “The Book of Mormon”; Tony Sheldon “Priscilla Queen of the Desert: The Musical.”

Best play

The category’s nominees announced Tuesday morning are: “Good People”; “Jerusalem”; “The Motherf -- With the Hat”; and “War Horse.”

Best actress in a play

The category’s nominees announced Tuesday morning are: Nina Arianda, “Born Yesterday”; Frances McDormand, “Good People”; Lily Rabe, “The Merchant of Venice”; Vanessa Redgrave, “Driving Miss Daisy”; Hannah Yelland “Brief Encounter."

Best actor in a play

The category’s nominees announced Tuesday morning are: Brian Bedford, “The Importance of Being Earnest”; Bobby Cannavale, “The Motherf—— With the Hat”; Joe Mantello, “The Normal Heart”; Al Pacino, “The Merchant of Venice”; and Mark Rylance, “Jerusalem.”
