From Ice Angels to exotic butterflies to wings with battery-powered LED lights, the 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show brought with it more than just a bevy of beauties in bejeweled bras and feathery wings -- the show was a celebration of sisterhood as longtime faces of the brand like Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio welcomed first-timers Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner to the 20th annual lingerie extravaganza Tuesday night.
There was no denying the young models -- who are real-life best friends -- were fan favorites. The pair drew massive cheers, but neither Hadid nor Jenner eclipsed the applause extended to Lima, one of 15 Angels who are faces of the brand. Angel Lily Aldridge got the evening's big gig, wearing the $2 million fantasy bra adorned with more than 6,500 precious gems designed by jeweler Robert Mouawad.
The fashion show, taped to air on CBS next month (Dec. 8 at 10 p.m.), also included performances by Ellie Goulding and Selena Gomez. Goulding performed her new single "Army," while Gomez opted for her feminist anthem "Me & My Girls." The night wasn't entirely about the ladies, however. R&B crooner The Weeknd wowed the crowd with his hit single "I Can't Feel My Face."
