'24': The movie is for real
News on the "24" movie front: Kiefer Sutherland was on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" last night and unequivocally said the movie would be released in the summer of 2012. You will note, that is a long time after the series' wraps, so you're left to wonder what Sutherland, et al, have up their collective sleeves to refreshen the old franchise for the big screen. Also: I wished Kimmel had asked about the Billy Ray script that was scrapped by Fox as recently as just a couple months ago. Did the production team dust it off and sell it to another production company? Here's the clip:
