Adam Lambert doesn't overshadow 'American Idol' finalists
Adam Lambert, all grown up, is back performing on "American Idol," singing "Aftermath." He's completely at ease, sitting on a stool in the midst of the band, doing what he wants with the song.
His fans are shrieking. For me, it was a totally professional performance, mellow but nothing I'll wanna listen to again and again.
Flashes a huge smile at the end. He really is one of my all-time favorites on this show. But unlike last season, his performance doesn't make me wish he was back on the show.
We've got plenty of contestants with star power this season -- even if none have so far displayed the crazy creativity he did.
