SERIES Don Cornelius hosted the coolest moves and music of the '70s in his syndicated must-see, a black version of Dick Clark's "American Bandstand." Showcased in these condensed highlights (NOT full episodes) are enduring names like Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer, LaBelle, The Jackson 5 and dozens more. Add to that "the Soul Train gang" dancing in their fashions and 'fros. Includes vintage commercials for Ultra Sheen and Afro Sheen.

EXTRAS The first three discs (also available in their own box for $40) feature recent interviews with Cornelius and artists/fans like Smokey Robinson, Jody Watley and Brian McKnight, adding context to the show's pop-culture significance.
