Amanda Peet stars in 'Bent'
NBC launches a new comedy tonight called "Bent" -- six episodes over three weeks -- and it stars Amanda Peet and David Walton. This one's not bad -- yeah, sure, I was a bit tough on it in my review for reasons explained -- but Peet and Walton are quite good, and there's some sharp writing, too.
Will it last? It's on opposite "Modern Family" so that may be your answer. NBC shot this clip of Peet and co-star Jeffrey Tambor, both of whom explain the genesis of the title, which is not immediately apparent to viewers by the way.
