'American Idol' ruining Scotty McCreery's big night

George Strait picked his own "Check Yes or No" for Scotty McCreery to sing on "American Idol."

It's an OK pick. On the one hand, he excels at these storytelling type songs. On the other, it's a pretty mediocre story. 

Pretty short version of it, too. Before we know it, we're off to a commercial again. My gosh, they've really made this night unspecial -- no judging, just a quick song and then they go back to break.

He's literally on stage for like 2 minutes. I feel really bad for them. What the heck is this?!
