'American Idol' weirdly mixes Michael Lynche, Michael McDonald, Dane Cook and Renaldo Lapuz
Michael Lynche comes out singing "Takin' It to the Streets" on "American Idol" before Michael McDonald comes out. I mean, really?! This is the music they think "Idol's" audience is riveted by?! The judges aren't even listening.
Dane Cook then comes out and he sings a song composed of Simon's insults. Gets off a few insult jokes. Out come some of "Idol's" greatest past failed audition contestants -- including Renaldo Lapuz!
His "I Am Your Brother" song was weirdlly infectious. If only they'd advanced him to Hollywood week!
It's all kind of random. Somewhere Ed Sullivan is rolling over.
