A nice surprise arrives tonight on public TV with a rare -- maybe unprecedented -- "American Masters" portrait of seminal rock band: Pearl Jam!
"American Masters?" Sort of hip? Really? It's on WNET/13 at 9, and was directed by Cameron Crowe. (Now we all are left to wonder: When the "American Masters" portrait of Alice in Chains?) Check out these clips, with Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell.
