Andy Rooney's son Brian to contribute to CBS News

The CBS-Rooney tradition continues: Brian Rooney, Andy's son and a respected veteran network correspondent in his own right, will join CBS News as a contributor, the network just announced. Rooney was in fact a longtime correspondent for ABC News and a frequent presence --- often from a breaking news story overseas --- on "World News Tonight with Peter Jennings."  He currently reports for L.A.'s public TV station, KCET. CBS said he'll contribute "occasional" reports to CBS News' various broadcasts and online platforms.
