There's a brief and surprisingly underplayed item in Thursday's "Daily" that says Ann Curry will replace Meredith Vieira at "Today."
Here's the kicker: I am certain it's true.
The report claims that NBC will announce in two weeks that Meredith is leaving -- it hasn't officially confirmed or denied any reports -- and that Ann will take her place. No word on succession date, but that is still likely to be sometime in the fall.
