Ashley Robles 'going to be big,' Jayrah Gibson 'mad good' on 'American Idol'
"American Idol" is in San Diego, on the USS Midway -- on a Sunday night! Jennifer Diley is up first. Her voice is pretty bad, even if she's relatively easy on the eyes.
Next up is Ashley Robles. She's singing "I Will Always Love You." She has a big, passionate, throaty voice and actually does a pretty good job on the song that usually people shouldn't try to sing. The judges all applaud. "Very nice," says Randy Jackson, with a "where you been all summer?" She actually answers she's been at home.
"Ashley Roberts [sic], you're going to be big," proclaims Steven Tyler. She has the looks, the voice, the personality.
