Bethenny Frankel returning to 'Real Housewives of New York,' Bravo announces
Bethenny Frankel is returning to "The Real Housewives of New York City."
Bravo said Monday that the founder of Skinnygirl Cocktails, a cast member of seasons one to three, would join Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan on the reality show's upcoming seventh season. Jill Zarin, with whom Frankel had feuded, was fired from the show after season four.
No premiere date was announced.
"I'm genuinely excited, with a side of slightly nervous, for my return," Frankel, 43, said in a statement. "Bravo has always been the place on television where I have the freedom to be unfiltered, honest and inappropriate, with an audience who has been with me from the beginning. I can't wait to see what this next chapter brings for all of us."
Ratings for the show, which premiered in 2008, have softened since its third-season finale.
