'Better Call Saul' gets its closeup

"Better Call Saul” got a one-minute tease amid the carnage of Sunday's so-called “midseason finale” of “The Walking Dead,” and — as teases go — it was reasonably information-rich.

 In that we learn that Mike Ehrmantraut — Jonathan Banks — worked at a parking lot before meeting his ultimate fate, in the form of one Saul Goodman — Bob Odenkirk — who was as bilious and bumptious in his pre-“Breaking Bad” days as in his “Breaking Bad” days.

 “Better Call Saul” launches Feb. 8.
