Did Brian Williams go to far on 'Letterman'?
Hey, I get that Brian Williams is a frustrated Buddy Hackett in the anchor chair -- in fact -- a funny, smart guy. But when a producer on "Late Show with David Letterman" comes up with a particularly bad idea, then it's up to him to exercise a little bit of judgment.
In other words, Brian, you are the anchor of the most watched evening news program in the United States, and representative of an entire news division. So before you do something like this, ask yourself: Would Brokaw do this? Would Jennings or Rather have? Come on!
