Journalist to host 'Fashion Star'British fashion journalist Louise Roe, right, is the new host of NBC's reality competition series "Fashion Star," Us Weekly reports. She replaces supermodel Elle Macpherson, who stepped down in late June, but has stayed on as executive producer. Roe has previously appeared on MTV's "The City," The CW's "Plain Jane" and E!'s "Fashion Police." Mentors Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson and John Varvatos will all return for the show's second season, Us says. Viewers of "Fashion Star" can purchase winning designs immediately after the show airs at Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue and Express. The latter replaces H&M, a participating retailer in the show's first season who will not be back for the second, which starts in early 2013.
