'Broad City' review: Comedy Central's girls

But would they end up the same adults -- oops, almost typed "sane" adults -- without these inspired adventures? If it isn't girls with sticky notes on their sex toys (the first scene in tonight's premiere, so you know what you're getting), then it's girls cleaning an apartment in underwear to make quick bucks off a big baby (can't explain, must see).
Which isn't to say "Broad City" is a graphic show. It's just NYC existence for average twentysomethings Abbi (Abbi Jacobson) and Ilana (Ilana Glazer), for whom talent/skill is a non-starter. Tightly edited vignettes chronicle their days of cleaning and/or napping on toilets, at McJobs that rarely even pay, prompting Central Park bucket drumming to fund a club run. Back home, there's a roommate's boyfriend eating all their cheese, or stolen office supplies returned for gift cards traded for everything from pot to pizza.
