Bye, bye Janell

After a pretty good group performance of Estelle’s “American Boy,” it was time for the first cut. Ryan went down the row first telling us Siobhan the glass blower, Haeley the Beatles killer, Michelle the nondescript and Kaetlyn the hottie were all safe. It came down to Katie Stevens and Janell Wheeler as the last two women standing. For some reason Randy thought it was too tough to call who’d be leaving. Yeah, right, this was a real conundrum. No surprise, Janell is gone after her weak version of Heart’s “What About Love” Tuesday night.

Janell sings the song again, slightly better than on Tuesday. Alas, she tells us, we’ll never get to hear her play the guitar. Thus ends her journey.
