"Dancing With the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba is succeeding Julie Chen as a panelist on the all-female CBS daytime discussion show "The Talk."
Inaba, who turns 51 on Saturday, was introduced on Wednesday's edition of the program as a permanent co-host following two seasons as a recurring guest co-host.
She joins the panel of actress-producer Sara Gilbert, TV personality Sharon Osbourne, actress-comedian Sheryl Underwood and rapper Eve.
"Big Brother" host and former "The Early Show" co-anchor Chen, 48, wife of disgraced former CBS Corp. chairman and CEO Les Moonves, announced in September that she was leaving the show for family reasons.
