In recent years, CBS has slowly turned into the Mount Rushmore of TV networks. Not much seems to change up there in the aerie heights of ratings stability. "NCIS" . . . "CSI" . . . "60 Minutes." They all look down upon their minions -- well, that would be mostly sadsack NBC -- content in their greatness, superiority and 25-to-54 supremacy.

Oh wait, was that a big chunk of rock that broke off the nose of "CSI" yesterday? Indeed, it was. In the most dramatic move of the least dramatic new schedule on network TV, CBS moved the old warhorse to Wednesdays at 10 p.m. to make room for a new drama on Thursday. No big deal, except that "CSI" -- which has lost a big chunk of its audience -- has been a Thursday fixture since what seems like when Teddy Roosevelt was president (actually, it's just since 2001).

Meanwhile, "The Good Wife" was moved from Tuesdays to Sundays, while "Rules of Engagement" has moved from Mondays to Saturdays at 8 -- the first original series on Saturday in quite a spell.
