CBS moves show times because of football 'overrun'

Get ready to set your clocks a half hour later on (some) Sundays if you plan to watch CBS: The network is moving back the start times of its primetime series -- including "60 Minutes" -- by a half hour to avoid so-called football "overrun"confusion, Newsday's Verne Gay reports. The move won't affect all Sundays this fall, but only those weeks where an NFL double-header airs earlier in the day, including Sunday and Sept. 23; Oct. 7 and 21; Nov. 4 and 18; and Dec. 2, 16 and 30. Under the plan, "60 Minutes" will begin at 7:30, "The Amazing Race" (starting Sept. 30) at 8:30, "The Good Wife" at 9:30, and "The Mentalist" at 10:30.
