Anthony Scaramucci, Dina Lohan to compete on 'Big Brother: Celebrity Edition'

The second celebrity edition of "Big Brother" premieres next Monday with two Long Islanders vying for the $250,000 prize: Dina Lohan, of Merrick, and Anthony Scaramucci, originally from Port Washington and now living in Manhasset.

The two are among the dozen celebrity houseguests CBS announced Sunday, with the remainder comprised of actors/TV personalities Jonathan Bennett, 37, Joey Lawrence, 42, and Kato Kaelin, 59; singers/TV personalities Tamar Braxton, 41, and Kandi Burruss, 42; comedian Tom Green, 47; former NFL star Ricky Williams, 41; 12-time Olympic medalist in swimming Ryan Lochte, 34; Olympic track and bobsled star Lolo Jones, 36; and former WWE wrestler Natalie Eva Marie, 34.

Lohan, 56, the mother of actress-entrepreneur Lindsay Lohan, serves as personal manager to her singer-actress daughter Ali Lohan and to her son Dakota Lohan, a model. All three starred in the 2008 E! behind-the-scenes reality show "Living Lohan." On Sunday, Dina Lohan tweeted a short promo clip for "Big Brother" and wrote, "So this is happening....."

The tart-tongued Scaramucci, 55, a Wall Street financier who served for 10 days as White House communications director in mid-July 2017 before being fired by Chief of Staff John Kelly, had been a Newsday newsboy growing up. A Harvard Law School classmate of President Barack Obama, he was described by The New York Times in 2013 as "Wall Street's first hedge fund impresario, a P.T. Barnum in a Ferragamo tie."

Hosted by Julie Chen Moonves -- the former co-anchor of CBS' the "The Early Show" and former co-host of "The Talk," who recently began using the last name of her husband, former CBS Corp. chairman and CEO Les Moonves -- this abbreviated season of "Big Brother" will have a two-night premiere next Monday and Tuesday, and air for three weeks, with a two-hour finale on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
