Charlie Harper: No 'meat explosion' death
I love to hype Ashton Kutcher's career as much as the next guy, and so today, another reminder that he replaced Charlie Sheen on "Two and a Half Men" which just wrapped its first episode, which airs Sept. 19. But as you know, Charlie Harper -- Charlie Sheen -- has died off-screen and one website reported the cause of death as a "meat explosion" after he steps in front of a Paris Metro. (What's a meat explosion? I dunno but it doesn't sound good.)
This morning, Jon Cryer said . . . No. That's not going to happen. Here's Cryer's interview with KTLA -- Ch. 5 -- from this morning. It's one of those vacuous silly TV interviews, but Cryer does talk a lot about Kutcher, the Sheen blow-up, and much else. One of the anchors even suggests viewers need to see the body -- yes! this just gets more bizarre -- so there can be some sort of closure!)
Cryer's a good guy, and -- six degrees of separation alert -- he's the nephew of Newsday's longtime distinguished book critic, Dan Cryer.
