Conan O’Brien, the nomad of late-night TV hosts, will return to New York for a series of shows originating from Harlem’s Apollo Theater, TBS announced Thursday.

No word on guests, or format, but this will mark Conan’s first trip back since the early years of his “Conan” run, which began in 2010.

Specific dates for this outing: Oct. 31 through Nov. 3. He was last seen on these shores at the Beacon — same dates, in 2011.

Conan, as you know, is a peripatetic host who has taken his (very successful) TBS program to Cuba (two episodes last year), Armenia (November) and even Qatar in January. Some fans — puckishly — once believed he’d taken his old “Late Night” even to Finland, but in fact, no: That country’s former president, Tarja Halonen, is an O’Brien look-alike, so the confusion (a long-running joke) is understandable. (Maybe Halonen, a guest on “Late Night” back in 2006, should turn up at the Apollo?)
