Cortez Shaw does Adele, charms way forward on 'American Idol'

Soft-spoken, earnest Cortez Shaw next up on "American Idol," was homeless at times growing up, says "no one can put a definition on your life," you can do anything you want. How can you not root for him?!

Doing Adele's "Someone Like You," chorus just rings true, has a really compelling tone, "that's what that song sounds like!" says Jennifer Lopez, "thank you."

"I like this guy, he has a certain charm, a certain... je ne sais quoi," says Randy Jackson.  For some reason they keep telling him he's a "good-looking guy" -- he's definitely going to do well.
