Cote de Pablo to star in miniseries
Cote de Pablo, who walked away from "NCIS," the most-viewed drama series on TV, will return to the network she spurned next year in CBS' four-hour adaptation of Alice Hoffman's "The Dovekeeper," Newsday's Verne Gay reports. The miniseries is from Roma Downey and her husband, Mark Burnett ("The Bible"), and is based on Hoffman's account of the siege of Masada. In the drama, de Pablo will play Shirah, described by CBS as a "sensual, mysterious and fiercely independent single mother with uncanny insights and a quiet and mysterious power."
