Could Michael Strahan be Kelly Ripa's 'Live!' co-host?

"Live! with Kelly” will suddenly become “Live! with Kelly and Somebody Else” on Sept. 4, the show just announced.
Who who WHO will be that Somebody Else -- Kelly Ripa's wingman on the long-running morning gabfest which -- goshdarnit -- just hasn't even been remotely the same since that great master of morning gab, namely Regis Philbin, left last November?
There's been web speculation -- based on an insistent declaration at one website in particular -- that Seth Meyers will be the next Reege. Meyers has denied the report, which probably means nothing. He can't exactly say it's correct lest this forthcoming surprise be wrecked. But the choice could be a surprise (a female co-host? Yes, possibly but unlikely.).
Michael Strahan would also be a surprise pick - admittedly a pleasant surprise pick. How a suprise? Well, how many 265-pound-plus former star defensive linemen and sack kings have ever hosted or co-hosted a morning talk show? Well? Does anyone know?
But Strahan could be your man. We'll see...
