 He sang "New York State of Mind" for his last song. I think he'll advance, too. He has a good story, nice personality and stands out vocally. He's indeed through, tells his family simply, "they want me to be on the show." 
 Lauren Gray is next. Her dad's also a musician. There's some Adele in her voice. She did that fantastic version of "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" earlier, and now sings "I'd Rather Go Blind" for her last song. She's through too, I think. I like her. 
 Judges tell her to believe in herself, and then tell her she didn't make it! Wow. I'm surprised. She was really great when we heard her last week. 
 "We fell in love with her," says Steven Tyler. "I still love her," says Randy Jackson. 
 And yet, she's in tears and didn't make it. Weird. I don't agree with this cut.
