Critics’ Choice Awards nominees 2016 include ‘People v. O.J. Simpson,’ ‘Better Call Saul’

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association announced its Critics’ Choice Award nominations Monday, giving HBO the most among broadcast, cable and streaming channels, with 22, and FX’s “The People v. O.J. Simpson” the most for a program, with 6.
ABC and Netflix earned 14 nods each, and FX 12.
“Better Call Saul,” “Game of Thrones,” “Mr. Robot,” “Stranger Things,” “The Crown,” “This Is Us” and “Westworld” are vying for Best Drama Series. “Atlanta, “Black-ish,” “Fleabag,” “Modern Family,” “Silicon Valley,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and “Veep” compete for Best Comedy Series.
A&E airs the ceremony on Dec. 11 from Santa Monica, California.
