Add Matt Damon to the ever-growing list of high-profile guest stars who will be wandering through the halls of "30 Rock."

NBC confirms to Zap2it that the Oscar-nominated actor (and Oscar-winning screenwriter) will appear on the show later this season, but beyond that the network is keeping its mouth shut.

He'll likely appear in one of the show's final few episodes this season, but NBC doesn't have a date set at the moment.

The guest spot on "30 Rock" will be Damon's first prime-time TV gig since he appeared on "Will & Grace" back in 2002.

Damon is an avowed fan of "30 Rock," and star-creator Tina Fey has said in the past that she'd like to have Damon on the show. So, done deal.
