Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas a bit cheesy on 'American Idol'

Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas are next to perform on "American Idol" to huge shrieks, singing "Make a Wave." 

He just seems so herky-jerky up there, in contrast to Miley Cyrus' evident talent, I'm not so sure about these two.

His advice for those who make it through? "Just keep doing your thing, keep doing it."

Uh, thanks. He was decent as a guest judge during the auditions, but nothing memorable -- nothing as great as Avril Lavigne's stint, for example.

If Demi and Joe were both on the show, they'd get cut for acting instead of performing when they sang.
