Derek Hough of 'DWTS' to join 'Nashville' for multi-episode role, ABC announces
Five-time "Dancing with the Stars" champion Derek Hough will be joining ABC's "Nashville" this season for a multi-episode arc, People reports. Hough will play Noah West, a twenty-something movie star who will run into the regular "Nashville" characters when he's cast in the leading role of a biopic of a famous country singer. The role requires Hough, 29, to play a "beguiling and disarming" guy, ABC said. The network announced Wednesday that Hough will be one of nine returning pros when "Dancing with the Stars" returns for its 19th season on Sept. 15.
