Did Macchio almost get booted last night?

Well, good old "Dancing with the Stars" has done it again: Injected some question into the status of a leading contender when no question really existed in the first place! Ralph Macchio was put up on the pedastal last night alongside Chris Jericho - originally from Manhasset, by the way! - as one of two possible ejectees.

The whole idea was to make viewers think that maybe Karina Smirnoff's fall Monday had taken a wrecking ball to his dancing season.

In fact, "DWTS" does this all the time - but also notes that one of the two contestants didn't neccesarily get the lowest vote. The second lowest vote total probably goes to Kendra Wilkinson, but more people will stay tuned through the long final commercial break if a more interesting contestant seems in trouble.
