Shows, shows, shows! Stars, stars, stars! Hype, hype, hype!

Next week, the broadcast networks will announce their 2012 fall lineups. Who or what will be paying a visit to a TV set near you in about four months? Here are some possibilities.

CBS

Yet-to-be-titled comEdy from Louis C.K. and former "Seinfeld" writer Spike Feresten. Starring Dan Byrd and Ashley Tisdale, this show about post-collegiate economic struggles has a strong pedigree.

"Elementary" Mister Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller), I presume? May I introduce you to Watson (Lucy Liu)?

"Trooper" Drama about a New York State cop (really?), played by Mira Sorvino (seriously?). Jerry Bruckheimer produces, so -- yes -- really, seriously.

"Ralph Lamb" (working title). A '60s cop drama based in Las Vegas, with three highly promotable stars -- Dennis Quaid, Michael Chiklis, Jason O'Mara.

NBC

"1600 Penn" Bill Pullman/Jenna Elfman sitcom about the first family.

"Downwardly Mobile" Roseanne Barr and John Goodman reprising "Roseanne"? Nah. She's boss of a trailer park. He's the handyman.

"The Farm" "The Office" -- wrapping for the season tomorrow night -- may lead to this Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrute spinoff.

"Susan 313" Sarah Silverman-Jeff Goldblum sitcom based on her own life, looks likely.

"Save Me" Anne Heche sitcom about a woman recovering from a bad marriage.

"Go On" Matthew Perry as a sportscaster in group therapy. This show already has been picked up.

"County" Hospital drama (with Jason Ritter, Michael Imperioli) that could see light of day based on its esteemed producer (Jason Katims, "Friday Night Lights" and "Parenthood").

"The New Normal" "Glee's" Ryan Murphy does comedy, about a gay couple and their surrogate. Ellen Barkin stars in this show, which has been picked up.

ABC

"How to Live with Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life" With Sarah Chalke and her "parents," played by Elizabeth Perkins and Brad Garrett.

"666 Park Ave" Haunted New York building? Terry O'Quinn ("Lost")? Distant echo of "Ghostbusters"? Where do we sign up? Also stars Vanessa Williams, Dave Annable, Rachael Taylor.

"Beauty and the Beast" A "reimagining" of the familiar story with (among others) F. Murray Abraham. One of two "B&Bs" in development (the other with the CW).

"Devious Maids" Susan Lucci soap about maids in Beverly Hills (no, Susan does not play a maid, though "Scrubs'" Judy Reyes does.)

"Scruples" Based on the Judith Krantz novel with Claire Forlani and Chad Michael Murray. ABC may be down on daytime soaps but it's high on prime-time ones.

"Last Resort" Andre Braugher as a nuclear sub captain? Produced by Shawn Ryan ("The Shield")? Verrrry intriguing.

Fox

"The Goodwin Games" An eccentric father leaves his fortune to his kids -- on several conditions. Becki Newton and Scott Foley star.

"Rebounding" Will Forte and his pals on a pickup basketball team. Network TV continues its search for a Forte vehicle, and this time with Steve Levitan ("Modern Family") as co-exec producer.

"Guilty" Cuba Gooding Jr. as disbarred and falsely accused defense attorney.

CW

'The Carrie Diaries' Think "Sex and the City" prequel. With AnnaSophia Robb as a young Carrie Bradshaw.
