THE LEAD ABC Family starts its 25 Days of Christmas binge Wednesday. Hallmark Channel is already airing nonstop holiday fare. Lifetime fills this weekend's lineup with Christmas flicks.
ANIMATION Two Christmas biggies do battle in the same time slot Tuesday: "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" (8 p.m., CBS/2) and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (8 p.m., ABC/7). Also: "Merry Madagascar" and "Kung Fu Panda Holiday" (tonight at 8 and 8:30, NBC/4).
TV MOVIES Premieres spotlight Doris Roberts in "Debbie Macomber's Call Me Mrs. Miracle" (Saturday night at 8, Hallmark), Mario Lopez and Dean Cain in "The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation" (Sunday at 8 p.m., ABC Family), Sam Elliott and John Corbett in Hallmark Hall of Fame's "November Christmas" (Sunday at 9 p.m., CBS/2), and Kevin Sorbo in "The Santa Suit" (Thursday at 8 p.m., Hallmark). Encores feature LeVar Burton and Louis Gossett Jr. in "Roots: The Gift" (Sunday at 10 p.m. and 4 a.m., TV One) and Susan Lucci in "Ebbie" (Monday at noon, Hallmark Movie Channel).
FAMILY FUN Disney Channel has new holiday episodes from "Sonny With a Chance" (Sunday at 9 p.m.), "The Suite Life on Deck" (Friday at 8 p.m.) and "Phineas and Ferb" (Friday at 8:30 p.m., all on Disney).
MUSIC Mariah Carey headlines "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" (live Tuesday at 8 p.m., NBC/4), with Josh Groban, Sheryl Crow and Kylie Minogue among the other performers. Other seasonal sounds: "Orla Fallon's Celtic Christmas" (Saturday night at 8, WLIW/21) with David Archuleta; Mannheim Steamroller sounds in "Holiday Celebration on Ice" (Sunday at 4 p.m., NBC/4) for Brian Boitano, Ekaterina Gordeeva and other top skaters; and "CMA Country Christmas" (Monday at 9:30 p.m., ABC/7) with Darius Rucker, Brad Paisley, Sugarland, Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts and others.
HANUKKAH A Jewish boys' basketball team turns itself around with ethnic inspiration in "Full-Court Miracle" (Wednesday at 8 p.m., Disney). And the "Shalom Sesame" gang celebrates on "Chanukah: The Missing Menorah" (Thursday at 6:30 a.m., WNET/13; Friday at 5:30 p.m., WLIW/21).
