In "Sleepy Hollow," a modern-day retelling of Washington Irving’s classic, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and that he is humanity’s last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie) to unravel a mystery that dates back to the founding fathers. Fox will air one more season -- presumably the last -- of "24" starting late next spring, the network said Monday in advance of its fall 2013 fall schedule announcement.

"The response to '24' is unlike anything I have ever experienced as an actor before," said former "24" lead Kiefer Sutherland, who will reprise Jack Bauer in the new 12-episode series, "24: Live Another Day," in a statement. "To have the chance to reunite with the character, Jack Bauer, is like finding a lost friend." "24" ended after eight seasons in 2010.

Separately, "Sleepy Hollow" -- from producers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, who wrote the screenplay for "Star Trek Into Darkness" -- will land on Mondays at 9 p.m. And "Rake," the drama with Greg Kinnear, was scheduled for midseason. Here's the fall lineup:
