George Lopez: The final show
So this is it: The end of "Lopez Tonight." There were special guests -- most notably Arsenio Hall, who went down this road more than 20 years ago before Paramount dropped the ax -- and who had appeared frequently on this stage. Said Lopez, "You let me stand on your stage when I was first starting out."
Also: Eva Longoria, who, if memory serves, was the very first guest on "Lopez Tonight." In this clip, you'll see a couple of Lakers -- Ron Artest, Derek Fisher - and many others. I missed the opening monologue which -- per reports -- was heavily bleeped. Out with a bang!
There was also a shout-out to Sandra Bullock, who effectively launched his TV career many years ago by producing his ABC show. Take a look:
