George R.R. Martin, the master of the "Game of Thrones" universe, made a reasonably rare appearance on late night TV Tuesday, when he was a guest along with Amy Poehler on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" -- and he had to work for this one. Subjected to a three-minute quiz by the host, determining whether he could recall lines from the many thousands of pages written over the last fourty or so years, Martin did admirably well. Take a look. Martin, meanwhile, has a new book out: The World of Ice & Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire).
