Giuliana Rancic says she has breast cancer

E! News co-host Giuliana Rancic announced on the "Today" show Monday morning that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Rancic, who co-hosts the entertainment show with Ryan Seacrest, also stars in a reality show with her husband, Bill Rancic. The couple has chronicled their struggles with infertility and Giuliana Rancic said it was while she was seeking another round of infertility treatment that she found out she had cancer. Her doctor insisted she have a mammogram before she could undergo another round of in-vitro fertilization and that was how the breast cancer was discovered, she said.

She says she will be undergoing treatment for the breast cancer and that she has not given up on plans to have a baby in the future.
