"Glee" will cover Whitney Houston's best-known song -- Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You" -- during Tuesday night's episode (8 p.m. on FOX/5).

Calling the timing "purely coincidental," a spokeswoman said the show would also be dedicated to Houston with a card appearing during the closing credits.

Mercedes Jones (Amber Riley) will sing the song as she decides between two men in her life -- ex Sam (Chord Overstreet) and current boyfriend Shane (LaMarcus Tinker).

The show's music supervisor, P.J. Bloom, told the Hollywood Reporter -- which first reported the news -- "We chose to do the song and ['Glee' co-creator] Ryan Murphy chose to do the song to honor one of the great hits of all time. Obviously we could not predict the unfortunate circumstances that happened this weekend, but at the same time instead of focusing on the dark stuff, it's nice to have an opportunity to hear her in this way and celebrate the magic that Whitney brought to this industry."

This Valentine's Day episode was already expected to be a big draw for Gleeks -- fans will finally meet Rachel's (Lea Michele) two dads -- Hiram (guest star Jeff Goldblum) and Leroy (guest star Brian Stokes Mitchell), who perform a Cole Porter song during a dinner party.

This is the second time "Glee" has covered a Houston song. "I Look to You," from her 2009 album of the same name, was also sung by Riley, along with Jenna Ushkowitz (who plays Tina) and Dianna Agron (who plays Quinn) during the second season.

Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey announced Monday that she will be rebroadcasting her two-part 2009 interview with Houston on her OWN channel Thursday at 9 p.m. In addition, ABC News' "20/20" will air a two-hour special Friday at 9, "One Moment in Time: The Life of Whitney Houston." ABC said the special would examine "her record-setting achievements and musical legacy to her rocky personal life and battle with addiction.

Grammy's drew 39M viewers

sSunday's Grammy Awards show on CBS was the second-most watched of all time, with a giant 39 million total viewers, according to Nielsen, the Los Angeles Times reports. The only Grammy telecast with more viewers was in 1984, when 43.8 million tuned in. That was the year that Michael Jackson won a record eight Grammys. Last year's show attracted 26.7 million viewers."
