Gottfried fired as Aflac duck
Strange but true: Gilbert Gottfried is the Aflac duck. Also strange/true, he was just fired as the Aflac duck. He sent out some tweets -- Gottfried, not the duck -- over the weekend making some jokes about the Japanese quake and tsunami.
The company was not amused, saying in a statement, “Gilbert’s recent comments about the crisis in Japan were lacking in humor and certainly do not represent the thoughts and feelings of anyone at Aflac. There is no place for anything but compassion and concern during these difficult times.” The company's looking for another duck . . . Check out this video. Maybe you can do it:
