Gottfried fired as Aflac duck

Strange but true: Gilbert Gottfried is the Aflac duck. Also strange/true, he was just fired as the Aflac duck. He sent out some tweets -- Gottfried, not the duck -- over the weekend making some jokes about the Japanese quake and tsunami.

The company was not amused, saying in a statement, “Gilbert’s recent comments about the crisis in Japan were lacking in humor and certainly do not represent the thoughts and feelings of anyone at Aflac.
