Haley Reinhart, DeAndre Brackensick go opposite ways on 'American Idol'

Haley Reinhart is next on "American Idol." She's brassy and passionate, but to me isn't that pleasant to listen to. Based on the way the judges are talking to her she moves on. Steven Tyler tells her she's a "yes," and she has a delayed reaction.

Young DeAndre Brackensick is next. He's got an interesting tone. They tell him he wasn't consistent enough, and it's a no. Jennifer Lopez talks to him at length, says he has a "magic little voice" and he should use this to motivate himself, work hard and you'll make it.

He's very humble and determined afterward. I liked him better than Haley.
