HBO cancels 'Luck' after horse death
"Luck" -- one of the high profile series on HBO this season -- has been canceled, after the death of a third horse during production.
To say this is unprecedented in the annals of TV may be an overstatement, but if so, not by much. The horse had apparently reared up its hind legs then fell backward, striking its head. It was put down shortly afterward.
