Hollie Cavanagh goes British on 'American Idol'

Hollie Cavanagh is super-excited to get a good luck message from the Liverpool football club (she's British), then gets set to sing her second song of the night on "American Idol." 

They're paying tribute to Soul Train, so she's doing "Son of a Preacher Man," by her fellow Brit Dusty Springfield. 

It's a great song, but her version is missing something. There's no drama, no coyness; she's just belting it out straight, not shaping it in any way. She's still young, not a true artist yet, even though I like her.

Randy Jackson says "you worked it out!" Jennifer Lopez agrees with Jackson that this was even better than her first song of the night (they're nuts), with Steven Tyler chiming in, "I think you can push it even more!"
