'Hot in Cleveland' series canceled
TV Land's first original script series, "Hot in Cleveland," is ending its run after this current sixth season, network president Larry W. Jones announced Monday. "It's been an honor to work with Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and the incomparable Betty White as well as our executive producers . . . and the rest of our exceptional writers, production team and crew," Jones said in a statement. At age 89, in 2011, White earned the series' sole Emmy nomination for acting.
