'American Idol" goes with a 21st century Foxx - Oscar winner Jamie Foxx - to mentor the four finalists as they perform movie songs Tuesday night. One of them will be the man - or woman - that got away from the top three.

GOING HOME Michael Lynche

Since Big Mike already got one life preserver this season - and he also loves songs smothered in Log Cabin - expect him to go down with the ship and sing "My Heart Will Go On" from "Titanic." Bon voyage!

SECOND LOWEST Casey James

Casey seems to be almost as good as Clint Eastwood in "Dirty Harry" when it comes to dodging bullets. So, with enough lives to make Morris the Cat envious, not to mention his Bee Gees hair, how appropriate will it be if he performs "Stayin' Alive."

GOING HOME Casey James

Kara said James' vibrato made him bleat like a lamb, but his loyal fans rallied behind him, so he survived last week's awful performance. But you can't always get what you want, and this week he'll go down in a blaze of glory.

SECOND LOWEST Michael Lynche

Though everybody's talkin' about Lynche's overtheatricality, the fitness trainer has been walking on sunshine since his judges' save. "What a Wonderful World," he must be thinking, and singing it could be the wind beneath his wings.
