J.P. brings 'Bachelorette' home to LI

Monday night on "The Bachelorette" was Home Visit week. In other words, now this gets serious, or as serious as "The Bachelorette" gets. Mom (and dad) must approve. Bachelorette Ashley Hebert must approve. Two weeks to go before the finale, so time to get those approvals lined up.
THE ROSE:J.P. Rosenbaum, of course, got one. The other home visits (Constantine, Ames, Ben) were OK, if a bit sad.
THE BOOT: On that note, a fond farewell to Ames, 31, the New York portfolio manager who really seemed to care for Ashley. "I feel pretty numb," he said.
J.P.'s HOME VISIT: For the special date, they went to Hot Skates on Merrick Road in Lynbrook; then back home, in Roslyn. A couple of details emerged. He has brought girlfriends home before (four, to be exact.) One broke his heart, or so he says. J.P.'s mother is worried. "Will you propose to her?" Says he: "Yeah, I'm open to the possibility." Mom: "The thought had me concerned." Says Ashley, "I feel so great about my relationship with J.P." (Umm, she also said the same thing about the others.) During the visit, Hebert met J.P.'s father, Peter, his brother Roy, and Roy's girlfriend, Andrea. Smiles all around.
