When "Dancing With the Stars" returns Monday night, the celebrity dancers will include actor Jaleel White, who's best known for his role as uber-nerd Steve Urkel on the ABC comedy "Family Matters" (1990-98). Here are five things to know about the character with the hiked-up trousers and super-size specs:
1. His middle name is Quincy.
2. He has a gangster cousin from Detroit named Cornelius Eugene Urkel (also played by White) whose nickname was "Original Gangsta Dawg."
3. Using a serum called "cool juice," he transformed himself into the smooth, sophisticated Stefan Urquelle (a ploy to win the heart of his longtime crush, Laura Winslow).
4. He made a guest appearance on a 1991 episode of "Full House." The plot: Urkel was enlisted to help Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) deal with her nervousness about getting glasses.
5. He is fluent in Japanese and Korean.
