Jennifer Hirsch gets a 'don't stop,' Lauren Gray soulful on 'American Idol'
Jennifer Hirsch, who says she feels like she fidgets too much, next up on "American Idol," doing "Up to the Mountain" by Patty Griffin. Such an easy, natural voice; everyone's quiet listening to her.
Then she just soars on the chorus, some real power there. "All right now, all right now" exults Randy Jackson as Steven Tyler yells out, "don't stop!"
Lauren Gray after her, doing "One and Only" -- soulful, but to my ears nothing special. They're the only ones to advance out of this group of 10.
